Your files have wings.

Every file
deserves a
safe landing.

Share files directly between devices. Private, encrypted, and effortless.

End-to-end encryption · No account · Mac, Windows, Android, browser

The only clouds involved.

Features

Why it feels right

Encrypted before it leaves

Files are sealed into an encrypted container on your device. Even the relay server only ever sees noise.

Direct-line fast

Big files feel weightless when they only have to cross the room.

No cloud copies

Files go device to device. Nothing is stored anywhere in between, and the link dies when you close the window.

Recipient needs nothing

No app? They open the link in a browser and download straight from you.

Files and folders

Mix files and folders in one transfer. The recipient gets everything laid out as you had it.

Free and honest

No tiers, no limits invented to sell you something. Just a little swallow that carries your files.

Four moves. One bird.

1

Drop it in

A file, a photo or an entire folder. Drag it onto the window or pick it by hand.

2

Pick who gets it

Nearby devices show up on their own. Not there? Send a link or a QR code instead.

3

It flies direct

The capsule is sealed before it leaves your device and stays sealed for the whole trip.

4

Safe landing

Delivered to the right device. Nobody had to sign up for anything.

Demo

Watch one trip from start to finish.

A demo with sample files. Nothing leaves this page.

Three ways to reach someone.

Swooplet window with one file ready to send and a MacBook Pro in the Nearby devices list

Nothing readable in the middle.

Cloud services keep your file on a server until it gets picked up. Swooplet skips that stop, and anything passing through a relay is already sealed.

  • End-to-end encrypted. The key travels only inside the link.
  • No cloud copies. Files never touch our disk.
  • No registration. Open the app and send.

FAQ

Questions, honestly answered

Do both sides need the app?

No. Both sides can work in the browser. The sender can send up to 1 GB at a time there, and for more needs the app. The recipient only opens a link or scans a QR code.

Can anyone read my files in transit?

No. Files are encrypted on your device and the key travels only inside the link. Relays and observers see nothing but encrypted noise.

How fast is it?

Tens of MB/s on the same Wi-Fi, limited mostly by the disk. Over the internet it depends on both networks, and our own relay in Europe keeps the route stable.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Swooplet is free while it grows.

Which devices does it work on?

Apps for Mac with Apple Silicon, Windows 10/11 and Android 8+, plus any modern browser. Nearby devices work in the app.

Why does my system warn me during install?

The builds aren't signed yet. On Windows choose “More info”, then “Run anyway”. On Android allow installs from this source in Chrome settings.

What happens when I close the window?

The link dies. If you're sending through a link, keep Swooplet open until the download finishes.

Can I send whole folders?

Yes. Mix files and folders in one transfer, and the recipient gets everything laid out as you had it.

Free, no account. Same app everywhere.

Not ready to install?

Works in the browser too: send up to 1 GB at a time. For more, use the app.

Open in browser

Windows may warn about an unsigned app: “More info”, then “Run anyway”. Chrome on Android will warn about an unknown app: Settings, then allow install anyway.

Browser version limits: text coming soon.
